You may laugh…you may cry…but when you listen to Karyn Brinkmeyer, you will surely sense the presence of God. Relating well to audiences of all ages and backgrounds, Karyn reaches out offering hope and inspiration with every session she presents. Having grown up in Florida, God led her “step by step” to Iowa where she attended college, earning her degree in Music Education. Upon graduation, she was invited to travel the country with Iowa Christian Theater (now known as Lampost Theater Company). After touring with the group, Karyn’s next stop was Hubbard, Iowa where she taught music and also met her husband, Curtis. Although Hubbard is still considered home, Karyn spends many hours on the road as a conference/retreat speaker and singer. Being awarded by the Academy of Independent Recording Artist for her very first Nashville recording opened doors for Karyn to sing and speak in places such as Opryland Hotel in Nashville, Branson Mo. and in churches throughout the U.S. With a message that’s clear, music that’s inspirational and a mission to minister, Karyn creatively challenges her audiences to be all that God has imagined them to be. Karyn says, “Jesus is the Healer. He will bring you THROUGH the tough times. As you surrender each area of your life to Him, He will take everything sent by Satan for your destruction, and use it for good.” In a day when so many lonely hearts long for love and lost souls search for direction, Karyn Brinkmeyer is a shining ray of hope to lead them home.
