When you listen to the singing of Karyn Brinkmeyer, you will surely know that you have been touched by the presence of God.  Her smooth, passionate voice sends out a powerful message of genuine love and concern for all people.  Karyn relates well to audiences of all ages and backgrounds. She reaches out to them and offers hope and inspiration with every song she performs. 

Ministering to people, through music, has been a call on Karyn's life since her childhood days in Florida.  "Step By Step", God led her from Florida to Iowa to attend college where she earned her degree in Music Education.  Upon graduation, she was invited to travel the country, performing with Iowa Christian Theater (now known as Lampost Theater Company).  After touring with the group, Karyn's next stop was Hubbard, Iowa where she taught music in the public school and also met her husband, Curtis.  Although Hubbard is still considered home, Karyn and Curtis spend many hours on the road as Karyn performs as a soloist in churches, prisons, conferences and retreats. 

Her first album was recorded in Nashville.  In 1996, the Academy of Independent Recording Artist awarded Karyn the prestigeous "New Female Artist of the Year" award in the Inspirational/Country category.  Other highlights for Karyn include  singing in Branson, sharing the stage with International Opera Singer, Simon Estes,  and opening for Pop singer, B.J. Thomas.

When she's not singing, Karyn is a much sought after public speaker for various women's groups.  As a public speaker, Karyn shares her personal testimony of God's deliverance in her life.  As Karyn lets God lead the way in her music ministry, her hope is to point hurting people to Him.  Karyn says, "Jesus is the Healer. He will bring you THROUGH the tough times to walk in victory.  As you surrender your life to Him, He will take everything sent by Satan for your destruction, and use it for your good."  In a day when so many lonely hearts long for love and lost souls search for direction, Karyn Brinkmeyer is a shining ray of hope to lead them home.
